Podcasts about Philosophy
Peter Adamson’s History of Philosophy without any Gaps has endeavored since 2010 to cover all of the major thinkers and topics in philosophy, from the beginning, in a clear, accurate, and technical way. Thus far, he’s succeeded.
Stephen West’s Philosophize This! is similarly comprehensive in approach, but far less technical and nuanced. It’s a worthwhile listen for a conversational, yet engaged, approach to philosophy.
Topical, conversational, and using a round-table format, The Partially Examined Life episodes are a bit longer than the Podcasts mentioned above, but have the benefit of being more directly textual.
Boasting a huge catalog and short technical discussions of topics, Philosophy Bites is a great introduction to many topics.
While not, strictly speaking, philosophical in nature, The Myths and Legends Podcast is a great way to learn added context regarding the allusions often referenced in ancient and medieval texts.
Philosophy Comics
The comics below refer to a wide variety of philosophical topics. Most of them come from the hilarious XKCD, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, or Existential Comics.
